“We are also working on some numbers of rural roads, stretching kilometers, at various stages of completion as well,” he said. Otiji said that the Governor had promised to power lit all the roads in the state to aid night driving. He, however, said that the residents did not need to lobby for the government to do construct or reconstruct their roads.

He said that the ministry would see to every road because it was carrying out its road construction systematically so as to make sure that all roads were done in accordance to the Governor’s promise. He said that some of the semi-urban roads constructed/reconstructed included: roads in Emene, Amechi area, Idodo, Ninth Mile, Ngwo area,  among others.
