Following the gradual ease of the lockdown by the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, First Bank, one of the leading financial institutions in the country said they have gone back to providing full services with the opening of its branches from 8:00am to 4:00p.m. daily.
A communication to its teaming customers, which the bank sent through email platform reads, “With the further easing of the lockdown by the Federal Government, we are now operating business as usual to serve you better. Here are a few adjustments at our branches to serve you safely,” it said in the statement.
The bank went ahead to provide its customers with a guide to the new protocols as directed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), which will be mandatory to any customer that is visiting any branch of the bank nationwide.
Branch Operations:
We have commenced full banking services from Monday 8 June 2020. Our open branches will operate 8am – 4pm. Click here for a list of open branches. ATMs: You will be able to use all of our ATMs at our branches nationwide.
Temperature Checks:
Your temperature will be checked and if unwell, you will not be allowed into any of our premises. Personal Hygiene: Use the hand sanitizers provided at our branches or water and soap to thoroughly wash your hands for 20 seconds before and after using the ATM and/or visiting the branch.
Face Masks:
For your safety and that of our staff, wearing face masks is now mandatory at all our branches.
Social Distancing:
Maintain social distancing when on the queue at the ATM or inside a branch. Queuing markers have been introduced to ensure social distancing.
