The member representing Ahiazu-/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives (PDP), Rt. Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu, has assured the people of Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area, Imo State of his preparedness and commitment to attract more democracy dividends to their area, if re-elected for a second tenure .
Hon Chinedu gave the assurance on Sunday during a meeting with the Ahiazu Mbaise PDP Exco and the 185 Chapters’ members at the Elekenowasi Obohia , Ahiazu Mbaise LGA home of the PDP Chairman, Chief Ogidi lbe Obolobo.
The law maker used the occasion to outline his achievements since elected into office – achievements both completed and ongoing, which he described as “indeed massive.” Hon Chinedu announced that he is “determined to do more when re-elected for another term in the 2023 National Assembly Elections.”
As a demonstration of his performance to his constituents in the area, Hon. Chinedu during the meeting, called up the 12 Ahiazu PDP Ward Chairmen present, to mention the projects sited in their various wards by him, which the Chairmen did.
The ward chairmen mentioned various projects ranging from rural electricity, water boreholes, toilet facilities, construction of health centers, and renovation of others, construction classroom blocks, recreation centres, solar-powered streetlights, internal roads construction, market stalls and others.
Hon. Chinedu, who expressed delight at the show of gratitude by those at the meeting, for the projects already attracted and executed by him, urged them to extend the appreciation by delivering all PDP Candidates, from presidential, Senate, House of Representatives and House of Assembly in next 2023 general elections.
Earlier, the Chairman of Ahiazu Mbaise LGA PDP, Chief Ogidi lbe Obolobo, had thanked Hon. Chinedu for “living up to his promise of adding value to the Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency.”
Chief Obolobo assured him of the “total support of ndi-Ahiazu Mbaise to his second term bid.”
Also in his remark, the Director General (DG) of Rt. Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu Re-election Campaign Organization, Chief Kingsley Njoku, lauded the people of Ahiazu Mbaise for their “show of implicit confidence” on Hon. Chinedu, describing it as “very encouraging.”
Some stakeholders present at the meeting included Engr. Rex Okoro, PDP Ahiazu Mbaise State Constituency candidate , Chief Iyke Ehiriwe, a PDP Chieftain , Hon. Callistus Anyanwu PDP Ahiazu Oraganizing Secretary, Hon. Chidi Anyanwu Ahiazu Mbaise PDP Media Director, and others.
