Mr Anthony Kanayo Onwordi the new Glo image maker
Renowned journalist and Public Relations practitioner, Mr Anthony Kanayo Onwordi, popularly known by friends, colleagues, and cronies as Toni Kan, has joined Glo as Head, Public Relations.
The English language graduate of the University of Jos, with a master’s from the University of Lagos, we reliably gathered, resumed at the Lagos headquarters of the telecommunications company, on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.
Prior to joining Glo owned by business mogul Dr. Mike Adenuga, Jnr, one of Nigeria’s richest men, Toni Kan, had worked as a journalist where he rose to the position of editor, Hints magazine. It was one of the leading weekly magazines at the time. He was also at some point with Bank PHB, Zenith Bank, Visafone and Ntel.
As an author, he has published many books including his critically acclaimed Nights of the Creaking Bed and The Carnivorous City.
