The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 126 new cases of the dreaded coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in the country, bringing the total number of confirmed cases so far to 59,127. The NCDC made this known on its official Twitter handle on Friday.
The government agency tweeted, “On the 2nd of October 2020, 126 new confirmed cases were recorded in Nigeria. “Till date, 59127 cases have been confirmed, 50593 cases have been discharged and 1112 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.” The 126 additional cases of #COVID19Nigeria as recorded from across the country on Friday October 2, 2020 are as follows:
