Rano Air has commenced scheduled flight operations on its Kastina – Abuja and Kaduna – Lagos routes. A statement from the airline said the operations began on Sunday January 21, 2024
It said, “Today, Sunday, January 21, 2024, marked the beginning of another milestone for Rano Air for starting the airlift of domestic passengers from Katsina to Abuja and Kaduna to Lagos, respectively.” Since its inauguration last year, the airline has been ferrying passengers from Abuja to Lagos Kano, Sokoto and Maiduguri.
While the airline claimed that passengers turn out on its Katsina-Kaduna inaugural flight on Sunday was is very impressive, the passengers also expressed happiness on timely arrival of inaugural flight with the belief that era of delays and cancellations of flights on the route is over. Rano Airline has five Embraer aircraft, each with 50 passenger capacity in its fleet.
