NewsBits recalls that Monday sit-at-home is still observed in some states in the Southeast zone of Nigeria, mostly Anambra, Enugu, and Abia, States.
Owerri the Imo State capital and Abakaliki the capital of Ebonyi State have not been observing the sit-at-home which is being spearheaded by unidentified miscreants, long after the IPOB had repeatedly announced its end.
But, while the two state capitals no longer observe the sit-at-home, the other parts of the states still show minor compliance. However, the sit-at-home, is becoming less effective across the Southeast. Unlike when it started, movements are now noticed across the States.
Apart from Abakaliki, and Owerri banks, schools, and markets have maintained strict compliance to the order.
