The Lawmaker representing Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency in the Lower Chamber of the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu has called “for individual and collective sacrifices” as a way of sustaining the “changing narratives, and enthronement of peace, love and harmony” as Christians celebrate Christmas today in Nigeria, and indeed, worldwide.

Hon Chinedu, who is also the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency in the 2023 general elections, also used the opportunity to salute “fellow constituents for their prayers, show of love and support thus far.”

In a 6-paragraph Christmas message signed and issued by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr. Nnamdi Ukasanya, the Lawmaker said : “As we celebrate the annual commemoration of the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ, which is the most auspicious time for us as individuals and families, to rededicate ourselves to the virtues of Christ’s earthly ministry, let us all, make sacrifices, as a way to enthrone  peace, love and harmony in our various villages and communities.”

Speaking specifically on the Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise constituents, Hon. Chinedu said: “I will not forget, to appreciate in no small measure, the good people of Ahiazu Mbaise/Ezinihitte federal constituency, both old and young for the show of love and support I have received so far.

“As a matter of fact, the competition we all are witnessing in the race for 2023 election in our Federal Constituency, can only be a consequence of my unprecedented performance, especially for those who never believed it could be better, and how things were made very easier within this three and half years of my stewardship.

“A very healthy competition which signals the sustainability of the changing narratives and we all can put hands together to make it happen.

“While I pray the good Lord blesses all of you who are genuinely in need and support for the growth and development of our federal constituency, it is also my prayer for the joy, peace and love of Christmas never to depart from us, now and always. Amen.”
