The thousands of #EndSARS protesters in Lagos State who are out protesting against the defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) have rejected water and soft drinks donated by the controversial chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Musiliu Akinsanya who is better known as MC Oluomo.
Our Correspondent who was at the venue of the protest in Lagos said the drinks, which were brought in a van was vehemently rejected as the protesters chased the vehicle out of the premises where they made sure that the protesting members who may not know the source did not consume it.
Recall that some protesters were attacked by some thugs on Thursday and it was alleged that the sponsor of the attack was MC Oluomo on behalf of some powerful interests in the state, but MC Oluomo has since denied this allegation.
