Mrs. Folashade Ajayi trying to break barriers
Mrs. Folashade Ajayi, a 50 years old woman from Kwara State in Nigeria has enrolled at the Ilorin Grammar School Ilorin. According to Igbere TV, Ajayi started at Junior Secondary two with kids younger than her children as her classmates.
The woman, who hopes to become a teacher someday, said she enrolled in school to better herself. She added that she hoped to encourage people her age to follow through with their dreams irrespective of age. She also called on the government to create adult education programmes that would make it possible for older scholars not to sit with children to learn.
