Reports reaching our newsroom have it that the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has suspended its eight-month-old strike. The academic union embarked on a strike on Monday February 14, 2022.
Although the union is yet to make an official pronouncement after a meeting, which we learnt lasted almost all through the night, NewsBits gathered that the decision was taken at the end of the National Executive Council meeting, at the ASUU secretariat in Abuja.
