The Court of Appeal Abuja Division has upheld the July 16 governorship election in Osun State that produced Ademola Adeleke’s as Governor- Elect. Now, the buck has been passed to the Supreme Court that unfortunately no longer enjoys the absolute trust of Nigerians.
The three-man Panel led by Justice Mohammed Shuaibu dismissed the decision of the Osun State tribunal which directed that a certificate of return be withdrawn from Adeleke and issued to Oyetola.
The tribunal upheld the issue of BVAS against Oyetola stating that the Osun State tribunal was wrong to have said there was over voting and only relying on the evidence by Oyetola and APC, and as such doesn’t prove their case in any way.
