Peoples Democratic Party House Of Reps Member-Elect Dies At 36

A House of Representatives member elect for Jalingo/Yorro/Zing Federal Constituency, Taraba State, Ismaila Maihanci, has passed on. Maihanci died early Saturday morning and his Janaza (funeral prayer) will hold today at the National Mosque in Abuja after noon prayers.

The October 22, 1986, born politician and businessman was elected in the just held general elections on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Before his election also, he has served as a Special Adviser to Taraba State Governor Darius Ishaku. He had also served as the Secretary of PDP in Taraba State.

He is survived by a wife Fatiha Sangari and a son.
