US-based Nigerian artiste and internet sensation, Darlington Okoye professionally known as Speed Darlington has criticised the governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma over lack of development in the state.
Darligton, who is a native of Arondizuogu in Ideato North local government area of the state, described Uzodinma as a ‘terrible governor of the highest order’. The musician recently visited his hometown after 22 years and while taking a tour of the state, expressed great disappointment over the condition of the roads.
He was taking a tour of the neighbouring towns of Anambra and Imo to draw comparison and noted that he was sneaking into Arondizuogu on a bike without announcement, due to security reasons. Speed Darlington said there is no development in Imo State, rating it zero over 100, yet the governor does not feel ashamed of what the state has become.
According to him, elders in his village have been complaining that the only thing Uzodimma focuses on is the regional security outfit, Ebubeagu.
