Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has declared he is Igbo by blood. Davido said this on Tuesday in a response to a troll who warned him over his association with Igbo folks.
The person had claimed the singer could be betrayed by his Igbo associates, being a Yoruba man. The X user, Yakbel, wrote, “Davido just dey carry Igbo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest.
“Yoruba boy dey frolick with Igbos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. “You can never satisfy Igbos. Igbos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.” However, responding, Davido said he is Igbo himself.  He wrote, “Lol. I am Igbo by blood.”
