The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA in Anambra State, has commended the youths in Anambra for the peaceful candlelight procession organized by Social Media Influencer Mr Martins Vincent Otse, aka Very DarkMan, in memory of the murdered Managing Director of Fish Magnet, Mr Ifesinachi Onyekwere.
The party further commended the duo of Police Command and the Agunechemba Security Squad for ensuring that it did not escalate into breakdown of law and order.
According to the National Publicity Secretary of APGA, Mazi Ejimofor Opara, who was part of the candlelight procession, it is a sign of solidarity by the responsible and law-abiding youths of Anambra state, adding that it is equally a collective impetus of the youths in ensuring synergy between them and the Gov Charles Soludo administration in fighting insecurity in the area.

“It is a spontaneous thing among the responsible and law-abiding youths of Anambra state to carry out this candlelight procession, which not only seems less but deliberate in the state government’s fight against insecurity.”
“The young man himself is a youth just like the Very Dark Man, and it is indeed instructive that we pay our respect to such an enterprising young man whose determining spirit of entrepreneurship is in line with the One Youth Two Skills program of Gov Charles Soludo,” he said.
Opara, however, warned the opposition not to play politics with what he called a great show of solidarity by attempting to misrepresent facts and issues in the name of politics. “This program is not politics and should not be seen as such, and we are directing this to some fifth columnist whose unquenchable appetite for overheating the polity in the name of politics.”
Opara further said that Governor Charles Soludo has since sent his heartfelt sympathy to the family of the late Fish Magnet over the incident, adding that further programs lined up would be made public.
