Elder Statesman and one of the foundation members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Onwuka Ukwa has lost his wife, Chief (Mrs) Mrs Joyce Onwuka Ukwa.
An Elder of the Presbyterian Church Chief Mrs Joyce Onwuka Ukwa died on 25th September 2025, in Washington DC, USA. She died of aggressive cancer. An accountant, lecturer, philanthropist, mother, and wife, the late icon was involved in Community work both in the United States and her Amaekpu Community in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State.
She has trained so many people; contributed in raising funds for schools and churches in Ohafia and the US where she resided until her demise. Speaking to Everydaynewsngr.net from the United States Chief Onwuka Ukwa who is yet to come to terms with the fact that his 55 years of marriage have ended, described the deceased as special, “she is one of a kind.” A mother to all, Chief Joyce Onwuka Ukwa would be missed for her counsel, humanitarian services, and kindness.
