Fulani Islamic jihadists rampaging across Nigeria
The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has made shocking revelation following the attack on St. Mary’s Catholic Primary and Secondary Schools in Papiri, Niger State early on Friday.
It was earlier reported that terrorists stormed the school and abducted an unspecified number of students and staff members. Niger State Government later blamed the school for the incident.
Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Niger State chapter, Most Rev. Bulus Dauwa Yohanna, has now confirmed that 227 people, including teachers and students, were abducted. Yohanna, who is also the Catholic Bishop of Kontagora Diocese, made this known in a statement issued by his media aide Mr. Dan Atori in Minna.
The victims include 215 pupils and students, and 12 teachers. The Bishop also disclosed that the school had currently been shut down.
