Firebrand Plateau State Man of God, Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, has raised a fresh alarm, claiming that Fulani terrorists are planning a jihad war against Christians in the state this Christmas.

Rev. Dachomo, who has consistently cried out against reported Christian genocide in Plateau, gave the warning in a post he shared on his X account on Tuesday, stressing that he has been reliably informed that the terrorists and their sponsors have been busy contributing money to buy weapons for planned jihad.

In the post he captioned “They have vowed we won’t spend Christmas at home this year”,  Rev. Dachomo, who is the Regional Chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) in Barkin Ladi LGA of the state, noted that he has informed security agencies of the plans but doubted if they will believe him as past warnings he gave were disregarded and he was branded a liar.

Rev. Dachomo who repeated the warning during a church service hosted by the Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Pastor Paul Enenche on Monday, stated that, according to the information he gathered, the attacks, killings and destruction of villages and communities in Plateau State will be child’s play compared to the planned jihad as the terrorists have vowed that Christians will not celebrate Christmas in their homes this year.

The terrorists have devised new strategies to launch coordinated assaults across various communities in the region, with many of them reportedly contributing funds to support the plan, according to him. “We need your prayers because in the Islamic world, especially among the Fulani terrorists, they are busy contributing money,” he told the Dunamis congregation.

“I was informed that every woman is contributing N100,000, and the men are contributing N200,000. They have vowed that we will not celebrate Christmas this year. They said we will flee with rice in our hands because they are ready for jihad. They are mobilising from the far North, and today, all we need is prayer.”

He, however, solicited prayers from every Nigerian Christian, saying that there is nothing prayer cannot achieve, assuring worshippers that God will not abandon His people.

“This God who lives in heaven with His Son at His right hand—nothing will stop Him from saving our souls. Just pray. Your prayer is more powerful than an AK-47; it is more powerful than a rocket launcher. Let us launch our prayers to heaven,” he said.

The cleric further expressed confidence that God would continue to answer the prayers of Christians and intervene in the situation. There is a genocide in Nigeria. Pray for us in Jesus’ name,” he said.
