An angry lady from Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State, Obetta Nnedinso Edith, has placed curses on certain persons after her mother died the day she was freed from the kidnappers’ den.

NewsBits had reported that a woman, Mrs Agnes Odo, passed on just 24 hours after she regained freedom from kidnappers. The deceased was freed alongside six others who were all abducted while attending a burial at Ezimo-Agu in the local government area.

Before her demise, there were controversies as credits were given to the local council authorities for their freedom. However, her daughter is infuriated that such honour should be given to people whom she accused of failing to rescue her mother.

With tears emoji, she wrote: “As many as they are taking glory for what they didn’t do, I curse them today that as far as me and my family are passing through this emotional trauma, they and their family will never know peace.

“My mother’s head will fight them. We begged them when our money was ready, but they said they were tracking, but didn’t do anything until my family rescued them. They came here and started taking glory.

“It will never be well with them all, I swear and promise them.” Her message was shared by a popular social media influencer, Chijinkem Ugwuanyi.
