The e-registration of the immediate past Governor of Enugu State and ambassadorial nominee, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi into the All Progressives Congress (APC) was akin to a carnival as a huge crowd of supporters and well-wishers gathered to witness the event.
The enthusiastic crowd, filled with music, cheers, and fanfare, accompanied Ugwuanyi to his ward in Ohom, Orba, Udenu Local Government Area, where he formally registered as a member of the party. Impressed by the attendance and the show of solidarity, Ugwuanyi expressed profound gratitude to his supporters, describing the moment as humbling.
Dignitaries who attended included some Enugu State Government officials, a member of the State House of Assembly, and the Chairman of Udenu Local Government Area, Hon. Aka Eze Aka, Chairman of Igbo Eze South Local Government Area, Barr. Ferdinand Ugwueze, and other party leaders and stakeholders.
Ugwuanyi assured the gathering of the APC’s commitment, as well as the government’s readiness, to carry everyone along in the affairs of the party and governance. He reaffirmed his dedication to good governance, unity, and inclusive leadership and total support for Governor Mbah’s administration in the state.
