The Enugu State Command’s Police Medical Directorate will conduct a one-day free medical outreach on Monday, 30th March 2026, at the State Headquarters, Enugu State GRA, Enugu, by 9:00 a.m.
A statement issued by the spokesman of the Command, SP Daniel Ndukwe, indicated that the medical outreach is part of activities lined up for the weeklong celebration of National Police Day 2026.
According to Ndukwe in the statement, the outreach “will feature health talks, medical counselling, blood pressure (BP) checks, electrocardiogram (ECG) tests, blood sugar testing, Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) testing, Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) testing, eye examinations, retroviral screening (RVS) testing, and free drug administration. All services will be provided at no cost to members of the public.”
He said the Commissioner of Police, CP Mamman Bitrus Giwa, has advised members of the public to take advantage of the opportunity. “He notes that the initiative is part of the Police’s efforts to commemorate the day, strengthen police-community relations, build trust, and promote the health and well-being of citizens,” Ndukwe, quoting the CP, said.
