The Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) has postponed the 28th Nigerian Economic Summit, which was earlier scheduled to hold from October 24-25, 2022.
The postponement, according to an e-mail sent to stakeholders and participants, was due to unforeseen scheduling challenges. The 28th Nigerian Economic Summit (NES 28) according to the organisers will now hold from November 14-15, 2022, at the Transcrop Hilton, Abuja.
The hybrid Summit will convene national and global leaders in government, business, politics, development, civil society, and the academia to deliberate on the theme ‘2023 and Beyond: Priorities for Shared Prosperity’.
The event has been scheduled to feature President Muhammad Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan; Finance Minister Zainab Ahmed, and Chairman, NESG, Asue Ighodalo, among others as speakers.
