By Tony Adibe

Enugu State governor, Dr Peter Mbah has placed a N10million bounty as a reward to anyone who provides any useful information that could lead to the arrest of the criminals who killed two Policemen in Enugu on Friday night along the presidential road.

Governor Mbah, who said this on Saturday shortly after the state security council meeting held at the Government House, Enugu, vowed that the state will use every available resource to fish out the perpetrators and bring them to justice. The Policemen on stop-and-search duty along the Presidential Road,  Enugu were on Friday night attacked and killed by hoodlums suspected to be members of the Eastern Security Network (ESN).

Governor Mbah while stating that the state will no longer condone such cold-blooded action as he has directed all the security agencies to go after the criminals, emphasised that there must be no hiding place for them.

He promised to use every necessary technology to hunt down, arrest and bring to justice the perpetrators of what he described as a heinous crime. The governor further called on the members of the public to assist the security agencies in fishing out the miscreants.

While pledging to ensure that the sacrifices of the deceased policemen do not go in vain, Dr Mbah extended the condolences of the state to the bereaved families. He said the state with the support of the security agencies is committed to making life uncomfortable for those who do not want to live in a decent society.
