The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), on Friday, declared controversial entertainer, Darlington Okoye, better known as Speed Darlington, wanted.
This was announced through the agencyβs official Instagram handle, @officialnaptip. He was declared wanted over alleged offences including rape, cyberbullying, and cyberstalking. It wrote: βWANTED BY NAPTIP. Darlington Okoye, aka Speed Darlington, is wanted in connection with alleged offences including rape, cyberbullying, and cyberstalking.
βAnyone with credible information on his whereabouts is urged to contact NAPTIP immediately. Call: 07030000203, in**@********ov.ng,β the statement read.
Speed Darlingtonβs problem started after he claimed to have had sex with a 15-year-old girl during a live Instagram video. This prompted the NAPTIP to invite him for clarification. However, he failed to honour the agencyβs invitation. The musician also later made a U-turn, claiming that the claim of having sex with a teenager was a joke.
