No Battalion Can Stop ADC From Holding Convention – Melaye Gives Update On Venue Senator Dino Melaye, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, has said that the ADC convention is unstoppable. NewsBits reports that the party had raised the alarm, alleging that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Nyesom Wike, mounted pressure on the management of Rainbow Event Centre to stop the party from using its facility for the convention. However, speaking with journalists at the venue, Dino said the convention is about to kick off, stressing that no battalion could have stopped them from using the facility. According to the former lawmaker, ADC already sealed the contract before Wike’s alleged move. He said, “We refused to leave Rainbow Event Centre because we have a duly signed contract. We paid in full for this venue for the ADC Convention, and we will hold it here. With a binding contract with management, no one could have stopped us from proceeding with the convention”.
