As the Presidency earlier communicated that President Muhammadu Buhari will observe this year’s in the Villa with members of his household as a result of the dreaded Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, in strict adherent to the social distancing protocol, Buhari and members of his family on Sunday observed the Eid-el-Fitr prayers at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The prayers were also attended by his wife, Aisha and their children. President Buhari according to photos from the Villa was sighted sitting on a chair while the prayers went on. Those that joined him in the prayers were seen maintaining social distancing with face masks, but the President and the wife did not wear face mask. The President has though his Senior Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu banned political associates, friend and well wishers not to bother him with Eid visits.
