Nigeria on Saturday June 27, 2020 at 11:42p.m. reported 779 new cases of the rampaging Coronavirus (COVID-19), which is the highest to be recorded in the country in a single day since the index case of 27 February 2020.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its Twitter handle update on Saturday night, the new confirmed cases bring Nigeria’s total confirmed patients of COVID-19 to 24,077. Of this number, 8,625 have so far been discharged while 558 deaths have also been reported.
