There are fears in Kano State northern Nigeria as the case of insecurity of lives and property continue to rise. Even as both the state and federal government have continued to assure the citizens of their safety, three people were abducted on Monday August 31, by kidnappers who without fear mounted a road block along Falgore Forest in Doguwa Local Government Area of Kano State.
An eyewitness, Ado Musa told Freedom Radio that the incident, which happened around 7:00a.m. left many commuters injured including the Hisbah commander of the local government, Mukhtar Abdulmumin. Already the Kano State Police Command’s spokesperson, Abdullahi Kiyawa has confirmed the incident but, added that police authorities have begun investigation into the incident.
