Catholics To Celebrate Virgin Mary At Garden Of Grace, Trans-Ekulu, On August 24

Preparations are in full swing for the annual celebration of the Virgin Mary at the Garden of Grace, New GRA, Trans-Ekulu, Enugu, on Saturday, August 24th, 2024. The event, which draws Christians, particularly Catholics, will honor the mother of Jesus Christ in a special way.

In an exclusive interview with Core News, the Director of the Garden of Grace, Brother Greg Mary Ajide, emphasized the significance of celebrating the Virgin Mary, highlighting her profound impact on humanity.

“The Virgin Mary plays an immeasurable role in the lives of the faithful,” Brother Ajide remarked. “She continually intercedes for us before her Son, Jesus Christ, and her grace is ever-present in our lives.” Brother Ajide further reflected on the mystery of the Immaculate Conception, describing it as a divine truth that transcends human understanding.

He also underscored the importance of the Assumption of Mary, noting that it serves as a reminder of the holistic nature of salvation. “Our beloved Mother’s entry into Heaven is a symbol of the hope we all share in eternal life,” he explained. “It is a testament to God’s boundless love for His children.”

The Director also highlighted the theological significance of Mary’s Assumption, stating that her triumph over death offers a glimpse into the ultimate victory of humanity at the end of time. “The Assumption of the Virgin Mary is a foreshadowing of our own triumph over death,” he added.
