The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 453 new cases of the dreaded Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country. This latest development brings the total confirmed cases to 46,140. The agency made this known via its verified Twitter handle on Thursday August 8, 2020. It said that of the 46,140 confirmed cases as reported, 33,044 of them have been discharged while 942 deaths have occurred.
