Breaking! Bloodbath Averted As Gunmen Attack APC Rally In Imo Gov’s Community

Bloodbath was averted Monday as gunmen invaded venue of the All Progressives Congress, APC, rally at  Omuma, Oru East local government area of Imo. Eyewitness said the gunmen arrived the venue in five Hilux vans, carrying sophisticated weapons as well as gas bottles and started shooting sporadically.

The crowd that gatherered was dispersed as people scampered for safety. “They later marched into the arena and destroyed all the canopies, confiscated all phones abandoned by the owners, destroyed the generator being used to power the place and the vehicle of APC leader in Oru East local government area, Hon Onyekachi Ojiegbe,” he said.

Omuma is the community of the governor of the state, Senator Hope Uzodimma.
