A Catholic priest serving at Isienu Nsukka Parish, Rev Fr. Gerald Ohaeri has been reportedly kidnapped along the Ugwuogo Nike-Opi Nsukka expressway. The incident occurred on the evening of Saturday, November 30, 2024, as the priest was returning from a function in Enugu.
At the time of this report, Fr. Ohaeri remains in captivity, and efforts to locate him are ongoing. Authorities have not yet released additional details, but the incident has raised concerns over growing insecurity along the expressway.
