The Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, Mamman Bitrus Giwa, has reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to a stronger and more effective working relationship with the Nigerian Army, aimed at enhancing security and safety within the State.
A statement issued by SP DANIEL NDUKWE, Police Public Relations Officer, Enugu State Command, indicated that CP Giwa gave the assurance while receiving the Commander, 82 Division Garrison, Nigerian Army, Enugu, Brigadier General Garba A. Suru, during a courtesy visit at the State Headquarters, GRA, Enugu.
The Commander, who was on a familiarization visit, emphasized the need for sustained synergy and cordial collaboration between the State Police Command and the Army Garrison Command. Giwa was, however, joined by members of the Command’s management team in receiving the visitor and his entourage, according to Ndukwe.
