Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Babachir Lawal, has said he is saving Nigeria from the crisis the presidency of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, would plunge the country into.
Lawal warned that he is saving Nigerians from what he tagged the Atiku hurricane, which would swallow and envelope them. Lately, the former SGF has been engaged in a war of words with the former Vice President, while making spurious allegations. Aggrieved by these allegations, Atiku’s camp has been responding to the allegations raised by the former SGF.
However, featuring on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Monday night, Lawal said: “If it must be a choice between Atiku and Bola Tinubu, I believe that Tinubu’s presidency would have been as bad as it is now on a comparative level when compared with what Atiku will plunge us into.
“You have to change your mind because I’m only doing you and saving you from danger and the hurricane that is coming on you, the Atiku hurricane that will swallow and envelope you.”
