The death of His Royal Highness, Eze Julius Nnabugwu Amaefuleh, MMA, KSM, JP, the Traditional Ruler and the Aladinma II of Oboama Autonomous Community in Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.
NewsBits reports that Eze Amaefuleh, who died at the age of 81, spent 30 good years on the throne. Reputed to be one of the longest-serving respected traditional rulers in Mbaise, his reign was marked by peace, unity, and socio-political development of the community.
A public statement tagged “Special Announcement” issued by the Traditional Prime Minister of Oboama Autonomous Community, High Chief Jude Uzodinma Iheoma, indicated that, “This early morning, at the sounds of Ikoro and eleven Earth gun (Ntu Nanala ) shots simultaneously, at Orie Ukwu Oboama na Umunama, The Eze in Council, the ODU and the entire Oboama Ezinihitte Autonomous Community, with heavy heat, formally announced the death of our beloved traditional ruler, His Royal Highness, Eze Julius Nnabugwu Amaefuleh , MMA, KSM, JP, The ALADINMA ii of Oboama Ezinihitte Autonomous Community in Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA of IMO State.”
High Chief Ijeoma also said in the public statement: “Furthermore, the Eze in Council, the President General of Oboama Development Union and the entire community, also use this same opportunity to send their sincere condolences to the Royal Family for the loss of their beloved father, husband and brother.
May the royal and gentle soul of Eze Julius Nnabugwu Amaefuleh rest in perfect peace IJN. Amen.”
