The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has said that it remained committed to professionalism, courtesy, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction while discharging its duties on roads in Enugu State.

The Sector Commander of FRSC in Enugu State, Corps Commander Patrick Egwu, said this on Monday in Enugu while briefing journalists on the 2026 Customer Service Week of FRSC. The Customer Service Week, themed “The Extra Mile,” is scheduled to hold from Monday, Oct. 5, to Friday, October 9.

Egwu noted that the celebration would provide an opportunity for the Corps to engage directly with its stakeholders and customers as well as wider road users. He explained that within this week, “we will take stock, strengthen relationships, and reinforce the importance of excellent service delivery in achieving the objectives of the Corps.

“Customer Service Week is an annual occasion dedicated to recognising the importance of quality service delivery, appreciating personnel for their commitment and promoting a culture of professionalism, courtesy, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction.”

Egwu noted that the celebration would also provide an opportunity and platform to collaborate, interact with, and appreciate relevant stakeholders, community leaders, partner organizations, and the media. He said: “We appreciate our personnel for their commitment to promoting a culture of professionalism, courtesy, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction within Enugu State.

“The FRSC Corps Marshal, Mohammed Shehu, has directed that we appreciate the relevant stakeholders, community leaders, partner organizations, and the media for their supportive roles in our duties of ensuring safety on the roads in the state. The Corps is committed to excellent service delivery, improved customer engagement and satisfaction.”

On the theme of the week – “The Extra Mile” – the sector commander said that it was an important message that would continue to inspire the staff during the week and throughout the year. The sector commander said that on Tuesday, Oct. 6, as part of activities marking the week, there would be a motorcade rally within Enugu metropolis as well as free Eye and Blood Pressure (BP) checks.

“There will be other public enlightenments and engagements focusing on positive road habits and better synergy with our various stakeholders as well,” he said. Customer Service Week is an annual occasion dedicated to recognizing the importance of quality service delivery.
