The All Progressives Grand Alliance, (APGA), House of Representatives candidate for Udi/Ezeagu Federal Constituency, Chief Wilfred Okeke has brought out bulldozers and other earth-moving machines to grade community roads across the Constituency.
A civil engineer by training and popularly known as Wilangy, Chief Okeke personally visited Iwollo to inspect the project which falls within his promise to bring development to the rural communities. The House of Representatives candidate assured the people that the roads would be asphalted if he gets elected into the Green Chamber of the National Assembly next year.
Okeke restated his commitment towards improving on the living standard of the rural dwellers asking for the people’s support to turn things around in the Constituency. Coincidentally, Iwollo is the community of one of his opponents and PDP candidate, and Chief of Staff to Enugu Governor, Chief Festus Uzor.
On citing the earth moving machines the Community went into wild celebrations singing, dancing, and praising their candidate. Ozo Ezeamowa oldest man in Iwollo community blessed and prayed for the APGA candidate. He also emphasised the need to try successful businessmen in Political positions rather than core politicians.
Okeke also visited the Iwollo traditional ruler HRH, Igwe Rachael Okoro. Among those who received the APGA House of Reps candidate for Udi/Ezeagu were successful businessmen from the community alongside former commissioners.
The candidate Chief Okeke and his entourage were later hosted by a former commissioner for Youths and Sports, Charles Ndukwe, Kenneth Ofordile (LOLO) and many other successful businessmen in Iwollo.
