Christmas: Senator Umeh Urges Love, Sacrifice, Giving To Less Privileged

By Tony Adibe

Senator Sir Victor Umeh, representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, has appealed to his constituents and Nigerians to embody the values of love, sacrifice and giving.

Senator Umeh’s appeal came as Christians worldwide celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ. In his Christmas message, Umeh emphasized the importance of demonstrating love and sacrifice towards one another, especially to those in need.

According to him, “It is with a joyful heart that I felicitate with you on this year’s Christmas… This event reminds us of the ultimate aspect of our faith as Christians, when God gave His Son—Jesus Christ, to be born of a woman—Blessed Virgin Mary for the purpose of man’s redemption.”

The politician said that Christmas “is an opportunity for Christians to share what they have with the less privileged in society.”

Umeh’s message came at a time when many Nigerians are facing economic challenges. However, he encouraged his constituents not to despair, but to look out for one another and share in the spirit of giving.

He said: “May this Christmas bring to you and your family a lasting cause of joy and fulfillment. I wish you peace and divine protection throughout the Christmas season and into the New Year!”

As a respected voice in the Senate, Umeh has been recognized for his commitment to philanthropy and the welfare of the people. His Christmas message is a demonstration to his dedication to the well-being of his constituents and the values of compassion and kindness that characterize his philosophy.
