Mamman Daura, a nephew to the late former President, Muhammadu Buhari, has been admitted to a hospital in London, UK where he is recovering.
Vice President Kashim Shettima’s spokesperson, Stanley Nkwocha disclosed this in a statement on Monday, following his principal’s visit to London to escort Buhari’s corpse back to Nigeria.
“On behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, upon arrival in London, met with and condoled with the family of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari in London,” Nkwocha said.
“The Vice President also visited the late President’s nephew, Malam Mamman Daura, who is recuperating in a London hospital.”
Daura was close to Buhari and was considered one of the prominent members of the alleged ‘cabal’ under the late former president.
