PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: ENUGU STATE GOVERNMENT APPROVES 45 ADDITIONAL LAYOUTS FOR REVALIDATION AND DIGITIZATION, DESIGNATES NEW CENTRES AND LICENSED AGENTS
The Enugu State Government, through the Office of the Surveyor General, has approved 45 additional layouts for Revalidation and Digitization under the ongoing Survey Records Digitization Programme — bringing the total number of layouts under the exercise to 150 across the state.
To make the process easier, faster, and more accessible for landowners, the government has also designated new Revalidation Centres and accredited additional licensed partner agents to support documentation, verification, and digital conversion across the state.
This programme is part of Governor Peter Mbah’s comprehensive reforms to build a fully digital, transparent, and verifiable survey and land-records system that protects ownership rights and enhances public confidence in land administration.
What Landowners Must Do
All landowners, estates, and plot holders in the listed layouts are required to submit their layout and survey documents for:
- Verification and Revalidation
- Digital Conversion and Plot Mapping
- Issuance of New Electronic Survey Plans and Certificates
Deadline: December 31, 2025
The government has fixed December 31, 2025, as the deadline for compliance. After this date, any layout not revalidated will lose official government recognition, and all plots within such layouts will be classified as unverified in the State Land Database.
Landowners are strongly encouraged to visit any of the designated centres or licensed agents to complete the process promptly.
