Governor Alex Otti

The Convener/National Chairman, Igbo Agenda Dialogue (IAD), Chief Chekwas Okorie has commended the Abia state Governor, Alex Otti, for his visit on the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in Sokoto Prison.

Okorie said that the visit by Governor Otti was a proactive, bold, and well-thought-out visit to an Igbo son, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in the Correctional Center in Sokoto State.

Okorie noted that in addition to the unprecedented and multidimensional development in Abia State under Governor Otti, he has never failed to provide leadership when and where it is needed, such as the visit to Kanu.

“Many well-meaning people of Abia State and my humble self, are proud of your indefatigable efforts to recover for our State, the developmental and political mileage it lost in 24 unbroken years before your emergence as the Governor of the State. I assure you, as always, my solidarity and prayers,” Okorie pledged.
