The Liberation People’s Party (LPP) will on Saturday in Abuja unveil its Presidential candidate for the 2027 General Elections.
Delegates from across the country are expected to arrive in Abuja on Friday ahead of the historic 1st Presidential Primary of the party to elect its presidential standard-bearer to square up with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in next year’s general election.
Meanwhile, the party will today conduct Governorship Primaries in 28 states of the Federation to elect its Governorship candidates for the 2027 General elections as well as 109 Senatorial candidates, 360 House of Representatives Candidates and over 1000 House of Assembly candidates. The Party’s primaries will also be held in all the newly restored constituencies.
A chieftain of the party, Barr. John Nwobodo, who disclosed this in a release to the media, pointed out that in Enugu State, delegates are expected to confirm the nomination of former Commissioner for Lands under the administration of Governor Sullivan Chime, Dr. Godwin Udibe as its Governorship candidate in Enugu to challenge the incumbent Governor Peter Mbah.
